Our Classes

The multi-age class offers the opportunity for a wonderful neighborhood-like grouping with 16-18 children ages 3 through 5 years  with two lead teachers. The students are encouraged to grow in their independence, confidence and creativity through thoughtful play experiences. In these classes, children are building observation skills, speaking skills, self-regulation, problem-solving, and their love of learning through the promotion of their creativity and curiosity. (Children entering these classes are required to be fully toilet-trained.)

What Our Parents Have to Say

We chose ECNS for our children because we liked the idea of a play based learning environment and the emphasis on getting the kids outdoors.   We've continued to stay because everyone on staff really cares about the children and works so hard to address each child's individual needs.

— Steve Salmons

We are so happy we made the decision to send our children to ECNS. We were initially drawn to the school for its overall small size and play-based teaching methods. The small size lends itself to a tight community feel...The outdoor learning space and playground is the best around. My children are safe, happy and challenged at ECNS. They love it here!
