The beginner class is a great first step for pre-school with a positive, safe, secure atmosphere. Children learn routines, how to get along in a group, listen to adults other than parents all in a play-based environment. The beginner class is comprised of 14 children that are 2 ½ years of age by September 1 and two lead teachers.
The multi-age class offers the opportunity for a wonderful neighborhood-like grouping with 16-18 children ages 3 years 4 months through 5 years (pre-K) with two lead teachers. The students are encouraged to continue to grow in their independence, confidence and creativity through thoughtful play experiences. In these classes, children are building observation skills, speaking skills, self-regulation, problem-solving, and their love of learning through the promotion of their creativity and curiosity. (Children entering these classes are required to be fully toilet-trained.)
One four half-day class is offered in the afternoon for 20 4-5 year old children with two lead teachers. All of the children in this class will progress to Kindergarten after this school year. The class is a play based curriculum encouraging and supporting children’s independence in all areas of development including physical, social, emotional and intellectual. Children are given tasks throughout the year to foster independence and increase personal responsibility for themselves, their actions and their belongings.

Camp runs for three 2-week sessions during the summer for children ages 3-5 years old.
