The 2/3s class provides a positive, safe, secure atmosphere. Children learn routines, how to get along in a group, listen to adults other than parents all in a play-based environment. The 2/3s class is comprised of 14 children and two lead teachers.

Mornings: 9:00-11:30am
2-day
- Monday + Wednesday mornings
- Tuesday + Thursday mornings
3-day
- Any 2-day class + Friday mornings
Independence
Children work on independence in the 2/3s classroom by learning to put on their coats, shoes and clothing without assistance, clear their places after snack and to carry and hang-up their own school bag.
Toilet Training
Children are working on toilet training, but are not required to be completely toilet trained at the start of the school year.
School Routines
School routines are learned and practiced such as clean-up time, listening to stories, using polite table manners during snack time.
Eliot Chapel Nursery School offers play-based, hands-on learning for the whole child. With an amazing playground and garden space, the children experience outdoor play every day. Each half-day class is led by two lead teachers that are caring, experienced and nurturing.
